In May, 2002, Night Shade Books published the first of a projected two volume set comprising the complete Kane omnibus. The name of that volume was Gods in Darkness and it contained the three Kane novels, Bloodstone, Dark Crusade, and Darkness Weaves.

In September of 2003, Night Shade Books published the second and final volume of the complete Kane omnibus. This volume is titled The Midnight Sun and contains all of the novellas and short stories featuring Kane. These stories have been exceedingly hard to find and appear together here for the first time.
