Junior's
Motel was founded back in 1972 by Kirk Kaufman, at the
time a member of the Hawks, a pop band with a 2 record deal
with Columbia
Records. Kirk is chief producer and engineer to this day.
Artists from all over the midwest come here to make music
history...

Thomas, etc. have recorded here. The first thing that
strikes you is when you enter the property- 'what? are we
on a farm?' you say? Correct. But step into the Motel and
be transported to the 21st century, with state-of-the-art recording
equipment and facilities. |
Ever
heard of House
on the Rock? Junior's Motel has taken that same approach
with it's ongoing expansion process. Kirk is currently building
a 60' tower next to this addition.. soon, you'll be able to
scan the cornfields from on high(or pee on your drummer's
head)
